Seedbiotics is a specialty seed coating company, founded in 1989.  We offer coatings which aid seeds to become healthy plants. The value of our coating lies in its ability to convert more seeds to plants than without the coating, particularly under adverse growing conditions. By so doing, our seed coatings are effectively creating seed at a cost to our customers less than that of the seed itself.

Our coating plant in Caldwell, Idaho was designed to serve the alfalfa, clover and grass seed industries. Nothing was spared in design and construction to provide our customers with the highest capacity and quality in the coating industry.

Many of the major seed companies send their seed to our plants, where the coating is applied and the seed bagged, tagged, and sent to their distribution chain for points of purchase.

Since 1989, Seedbiotics has grown by an annual average of over 20 per cent. We now provide the seed industry with well over 10 million pounds of coated seed each year, and our coatings are used worldwide. Our production, marketing and research teams are among the most experienced in the seed coating business.

We devote a great deal of our resources to improvement and redesign of our current formulas, and development of new seed enhancement technologies.

Becker Underwood researches, develops, and produces critical inoculants and coatings for legumes such as alfalfa, clovers, and grass seeds.

Seedbiotics works closely with the American Forage and Grassland Council. We are a
corporate member of this council.
